I think i am done...

I have to confess. The past year, i have been grabbing sweats at Walmart to cover my body. Having extra weight and not loving your body can be very frustrating. Everything i have been wearing has been work out clothes...all my hubby large T-shirts (all stained and crappy by now). I would go to the store and see a cute chubby girl with cute clothes and think..."Why can't you do that? She looks cute! What is your problem?".
I have been waiting to fit my clothes again. Well, it is not happening yet.
I am going to shop for my body so i feel good about myself.
You know what i hate? All the clothes i bought because they were cute and would fit me later with 10 less pounds on my stomach. Not again! Crap!
I just started then, new me, with cute clothes. Working on the Kate Spade look...Will show pictures of my inspired looks later.

Challenge me please

What about this one, eat a salad everyday for lunch. If you eat out everyday for lunch, grab a salad....but...it has to be the portion of a bowl...not plate.

Sometimes

Sometimes we have to reinvent ourselves.

Depression diet

When someone exercises enough, they are not depressed. So our body tells us how much we need to have a balance...conveniently it make us burn calories.
Let's face it...now with our economy, everybody loosing jobs, houses, sanity. We need to listen to our body. Eating does not help with depression. Exercising does. This is the natural way for us to "run away" from our problems.

I like it a lot


Here is the new Kate Spade fashion for Fall....I love it...not everything..i don't like the zebra coat and blue tights.
I also like skirts to be to the knee.
So here what i did...i printed the 2 pages and will take it with me in my purse when i go to the store. If i see something look a like, i will try it and buy it.
Yeah...No way i will spend 200 bucks for a shirt....Unless I am on What not to wear and have 5000 bucks free, LOL.

Dress me please


I was watching "what not to wear" Friday. I actually record them too. I have learned a lot about dressing myself on those shows. They always have different women with different figures and shape.
I also love to see how they put things together....Watch it Friday.

Just me

I still have some weight to loose but you can't tell on my face so much. It is all on my pouch. LOL.

Les Tuileries


I just find this picture on the web. This is the Jardin des Tuileries. In the back right is the gorgeous building Le louvre.
When i was a kid i used to play with those sailing boats on the fountain. I would push them with a long stick across the water to the other side. So fun.
If you have not been to Paris look in the picture. Everybody is walking!!!
You get very tired feet at the end of the day but you do exercise this way. So walk, walk, walk people!!

I have been drinking 3 glasses since Thursday everyday. Today, i will do more.

Fine, i will do it

So i will drink 8 glasses of water starting tomorrow...

Water please

I was looking at Beautiful Jasmine's blog. She says that she has been drinking a lot, to help her loose weight. I have to applaud her, because if you don't know it, we are supposed to drink 8 glasses of water a day...just pure water.....very hard for me..i just grew up with a bad habit of not drinking.
We are made of 90 percent water, i think...i can't imagine how much it screws up our body if we don't drink enough....Have you seen that Sponge Bob one, where he is in that air bubble with Sandy and he is drying up?
Yicks!

Working out?

Already then...Hubby has been asking me a lot "Do you want to work out now?" We do have a tread mill downstairs with a TV that i only used once...
So here, my resolution. 30 minutes a day starting tomorrow. I do better exercising in the evening so i will ask my oldest or hubby to watch the tiny monster and keep her away from my makeup and kitchen knives...
I did gain some weight last month...those last 5 pounds...Argh!
Like we say in French "Il faut souffrir pour etre belle" "you have to suffer to be beautiful".
EUH ...Yeah, hubby final lost weight on vegetarian diet....20 pounds...U rock love!.

Warning

Now, i have to tell you...an healthy weight loss is not a fast weight loss. I see so many advertising for fast weight lost. I have to say, it is a recipe for heart attacks and a lot of health problems.

A year ago, when i was contemplating having another baby, i got really scared. What if gaining and loosing all that weight is going to totally destroy my body?
I asked my Doctor and he said. If you loose the pounds the healthy way without starving yourself taking your time...Your body is doing great.
I feel better.
Because you know when you are married, you never know. 50 percents of pregnancies in The USA are not planned. I was an accident baby, but in France. LOL.

Experiment

What about 1 week without sugar....Oh crap.

Exercising

This is a big thing missing in my life....exercising. I really need to do something about it and stick to 3 days a week. I should run or something. Here, when you have small kids. You don't usually give yourself some time for yourself. When they are older and at school it will be a different story. Now, i need to take care of my body now.

The no meat diet is really cool. Hubby lost 16 pounds!! Yes! I guess, he was eating too much meat everyday for his business lunches....I think he was pigging out. LOL.
I did not loose any pounds but really enjoyed eating more fish. The difference with my husband and i also....he doesn't eat treats or sugar..not his favorite. I really did not cut down on sugar.
A tummy flu did not even help me loose pounds...so ..Oh well. With weight loss, you have to be patient.
The last 5 pounds are, i think the hardest to loose.
